One-of-a-kind handcrafted cutting boards

This  Grillfather Cutting Board is made from Bamboo. It will make the PERFECT gift for anyone on your list.

The board size is longer than the normal cutting board (pictured) measures approximately 11 x 13.

Our process begins with meticulously picking out rough cut lumber in search of the best quality for the end-result. Once the wood is cut to size, its glued edge grain to edge grain, sanded with five different grits of sandpaper, and then it is rounded on the top 4 corners and bottom

After routing the corners, we sand all the faces and edges of the cutting boards to ensure no splinters or frays occur. This also doubles as a quality control check. Your cutting board will have been viewed multiple times over, increasing the quality of our output and the level of your satisfaction.

The next step in the process is applying a mix of mineral oil and bees wax several times over the course of a couple of days. This allows the finishing process to season your board and, essentially, repair itself from knife marks. Over time, your cutting board will get used a lot, but the mineral oil will fill in the cuts.

This one of a kind cutting board would make a thoughtful gift that is sure to be treasured for many years to come. Handcrafted in our small workshop, it will make a special gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or any other special events in the lives of your family and friends

We photograph and exhibit every cutting board we make, so you have the opportunity to choose the appearance and wood to avoid disappointment.

No dyes or stains are ever used in any of our cutting boards. The rich colors you see are the natural beauty of the wood.

  • Care Instructions

With simple care, your new cutting board will retain its beauty and strength for many years to come. Hand wash your board as needed with warm water and a mild dish detergent. Do not let it sit in or soak up water. Towel off and allow to air dry completely. Approximately monthly, depending on frequency of washing, re-condition the board with food grade mineral oil (widely available in the pharmacy section of major retailers) or a cutting board conditioner of your choice.
