Our process begins with meticulously picking out rough cut lumber in search of the best quality for the end-result. Once the wood is cut to size, its glued edge grain to edge grain, sanded with five different grits of sandpaper, and then it is rounded on the top 4 corners and bottom.

After routing the corners, we sand all the faces and edges of the cutting boards to ensure no splinters or frays occur. This also doubles as a quality control check. Your cutting board will have been viewed multiple times over, increasing the quality of our output and the level of your satisfaction.

The next step in the process is applying a mix of mineral oil and bees wax several times over the course of a couple of days. This allows the finishing process to season your board.

This one of a kind cutting board would make a thoughtful gift that is sure to be treasured for many years to come. Handcrafted in our small workshop, it will make a special gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or any other special events in the lives of your family and friends!
